The Guru Kaizen Hooks offer an exciting new hook pattern intended primarily for pole fishing when larger carp are the target or you’re bagging big weights on heavier elastic.

During testing, however, the Guru lads found it a very useful hook pattern for feeder fishing, too.

It comes with a unique, extra-wide gape and shape, incredible strength, and an offset point that’s not only super sharp, it’ll stay sharp, thanks to a PTFE coating.

A premium quality Japanese hook, Kaizen actually means ‘continuous improvement’. These come with an oversized spade, so that they can be used with thicker diameter lines, for big fish, and still tie up nice and neatly.

They’re a premium hook that suit open water work for carp on a pole with lighter baits such as meat and corn, but with the strength of heavy gauge hooks such as their QM1s.

Guru are excited about the new Kaizen design; I think a lot of carp baggers will be, too.
