The Sufix Duraflex Mono is an affordable, high-end line, ideal for coping with bigger fish when they come along.

European Fishing Tackle Trade Association tested, it is available from 0.14 mm (5 lb) up to 0.45 mm (40 lb) sizes, with the 0.20 mm, 0.30 mm and 0.35 mm rated at an impressive 10 lb, 21 lb and 29 lb respectively.

Sufix report that it’s their NX Nano Resin formula that provides its superior strength and durability for its diameter.

Peeling off the spool with ease, the Sufix Duraflex Mono is a ‘sensitive’, supple monofilament with very little memory.

It’s certainly an interesting looking line, in my eyes, the thinner diameter sizes being ideal for pole, float or feeder fishing.

The thicker diameter sizes are perfect for big fish, including specimen carp.

Sufix Duraflex Mono is available in Clear and Low Viz Green on 150 m and 300 m spools, the Clear version also being available on 1,000 m spools.

Prices: from £5.99 for 150 m; £7.99 for 300 m; £20.99 for 1,000 m.
