AutoCamp, a company that specialises in airstream trailers, plans to install the glamping sites at both Joshua Tree National Park, and Zion National Park. With sites already at Cape Cod and Yosemite National Park, AutoCamp's glamping option  in airstream trailers is becoming increasingly popular.

Joshua Tree, located just 10 minutes away from the national park in Southern California, plans to open its glamping site by Autumn 2021. 47 airstreams will be available for renting across the 25 acre site, which will also include an outdoor bar, combined hot tub and plunge pool, mobile kitchen, and a general shop.

Similarly, Utah's Zion National Park will offer 72 airstreams available for renting, alongside the same amenities on offer at Joshua Tree. However, the site will be opening a bit later, in 2022.

The Airstreams offers a more comfortable experience than traditional camping, with the 31 foot trailers containing a Queen-sized bed, kitchenette and shower. The trailer provides free Wi-Fi, which is also suitable for up to three adults, or a family of four.

With holidays being affected by the pandemic, it is unclear whether travel abroad will be possible for the foreseeable future. Therefore, glamping offers an excellent alternative. A more luxurious experience than regular camping in a tent, glamping still provides a connection to nature, just with more comfort.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, there has already been a huge uptake in glamping holidays in the UK for 2021. AutoCamp will undoubtedly be attempting to capitalise on glamping's rise in the US with their Joshua Tree and Zion National Park openings scheduled.

Bookings for AutoCamp's sites is available through their website, although an early access membership is required to book Joshua Tree and Zion National Park.
