Now here’s a bit of news to bring you a warm and fuzzy Christmas feeling… either in your heart or in your feet! Maybe both. And all it takes is to buy a pair of Smartwool socks from Ellis Brigham.

Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports has teamed up with Smartwool to put warm, quality outdoor socks on the feet of as many homeless people in Manchester and London as they can this Christmas. For each pair of socks bought online from 1st to 24th December, Ellis Brigham will match and donate a pair to the homeless charities they support. The chosen charities are Barnabus in Manchester and Spitalfields Crypt Trust and Caritas Anchor House in London.

According to Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, an estimated 320,000 people are currently homeless in the UK and the numbers are increasing. This winter is set to be especially tough following a very difficult year and temperatures already dropping.

So, if you’re in the market for a new pair of socks or would like to help out, consider buying a pair of Smartwool socks from Ellis Brigham in the run up to Christmas 2020.
