Hoka, best known for its highly cushioned Metarocker running shoes, has launched a new extra lightweight hiking boot and shoe for tackling tough trails. The All Gender Tor Ultra Low GTX and All Gender Tor Ultra High GTX are new takes on the original Tor Ultra, with a weather-ready Gore-Tex lining to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

Both versions of the shoe also feature a Vibram Megagrip outsole mot increased grip in slippery conditions (see our guide what is a Vibram sole for more details), plus a full-grain leather and textile upper. They are available in two colorways: black, and simply taupe / pumice stone.

The two shoes feature Hoka's signature plush cushioning, and offer medium stability on the trails, with a 4mm heel drop.

Both are available now direct from Hoka. The Tor Ultra Low GTX costs £180 (about $210) and the Tor Ultra High is £210 (about $240).
