Right now, there's 31% off Shokz bone conduction running headphones in the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event. These open-ear headsets rarely go on sale, but for a limited time you can pick up the great Shokz OpenRun headset for only $89.95, or grab the Shokz OpenRun Pro for $127.95.

I reviewed the Shokz OpenRun Pro for Advnture's sister site TechRadar when the headset launched early last year, and was so impressed I soon bought my own. Open-ear headphones can sometimes sound a bit tinny, but that's not the case at all with the OpenRun Pro, which deliver great bass with minimal sound leakage, so you can enjoy your dad rock running playlist without worrying about judgement from passers-by.

Save $52 My favorites! The OpenRun Pro have a new transducer that gives bass a kick that you don't get with any other bone conduction headphones. With 31% off, they're a great buy for yourself or as a gift for the runner in your life.

Shokz OpenRun Pro Mini: $179.95 $127.95 at Amazon
Save $52 For runners with slightly smaller heads, Shokz also makes a version of the OpenRun Pro with a smaller headband. Personally I find the regular version fits me just fine, but if you're on the petite side then this would probably be the more comfortable.

Bone conduction headphones are a great option for runners because they leave your ear canals open, meaning you can still hear what's happening around you, and identify where it's coming from (something that's not possible using noise-cancelling headphones with a 'through' mode).
