Organisers of the  National Outdoor Expo, which was due to take place at Birmingham on March 27-28, 2021, have decided to postpone for a year.

They believe it is too risky to try to run the show due to the new variant of Covid and the third lockdown.

A spokesperson said: "Our events are about having a great day out with your family and friends.

"With this in mind, we have a rule inside the business that our shows are about ‘hugs and high-5s’ and we don’t feel confident that this would be possible by spring 2021.

"We would rather wait and get it right than deliver an event that is anything less than awesome."

If you have already booked a place, you will be contacted by See Tickets shortly and offered the opportunity to take a refund or roll your ticket over for the new dates of March 19 and 20, 2022 . You can also update your order at See Tickets.

See Tickets will also give people the chance to register for a free ticket for one or more of the organiser's other events happening this year, such as The National Running Show South and/or the National Snow Show.
