Black Friday is finally here and when it comes to camping gear, it's living up to our expectations. Two of our favorite deals so far were just announced, offering deep discounts on tents by MSR and Coleman so you can spend more time in the outdoors, for less.
If you're in the market for a new tent, you want to be sure you're making the right decision. After all, tents are a big ticket item when it comes to camping gear and you need to be sure yours is lightweight and packable enough to bring on your adventures, while offering enough room for you and your gear and plenty of protection from the elements. There are a lot of great deals out there this Black Friday and we know it's a lot of work to sift through them. That's why we've been keeping a keen eye on the deals as they roll out, so you can sit back and let us bring you the best of them.
These deals both offer around half off high quality tents, with one deal on each side of the Atlantic. MSR, or Mountain Safety Research, is based in Seattle and makes camping, hiking and mountaineering equipment, such as portable stoves and tents. Their 2-person, 3-season tent is ideal for exploring the backcountry and almost half its original price.
Coleman is based in Chicago and well down for its outdoor gear like tents and stoves. Their prices are often budget friendly to begin with, so we couldn't believe our eyes when we say they'd trimmed an extra 52% off this 6-man tent, perfect for camping with the whole family.
